Still snowing...?!

OHHH!!! So the weather channel said that the winter weather storm advisory would be over by 3am, but NOOOO its 11am and we still be getting some snow. Where I'm at, we got over a foot of snow! It is absolutely CRAZY!!! Now I need to just invite some people over and have some fun in the snow!

Rejection

I applied to 5 schools in the northeastern area. I am unfortuante to have to say that today I got my first letter, and it just so happens to be a rejection letter from my #1 school. I had intended to go to Messiah College but I guess they don't intend for me to go there. They say my character and personality fit well with the school, BUT that my grades aren't what they wanted I'm guessing. My GPA fits in where most of the students at Messiah have. I guess I just wasn't meant to go there. Who knows? Maybe I will have the opportunity in a year or two to transfer. Until then, I'm just waiting to hear from the other 4 schools to which I applied. Hopefully I won't get anymore rejections, but I won't know until I get the letters....

SNOW DAY!

Today was amazing because we had a SNOW DAY!!!

What did I do with my day today?

- Watched Dr Phil

- Went up to the Hebron house to bring wood inside

- Bought some gas

- Stopped by DD for hot chocolate

- Quick stop at Stop&Shop (lines were forever long!)

- Went out in the snow to get the mail

- Back home, ate, and all that fun stuff!!

- Ending it with watching movies

What else could have been better?

SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!
oh my gosh! we are suppose to get up to a foot of snow tomorrow! that means the likeliness of us have school is pretty small at this point. it may be sunny out, but they say the storm is brewing and it should be here by late tonight into early tomorrow morning! i cant wait til i can go outside and actually make a snowman...or even a snowball! im knocking on wood and crossing my fingers that snow will come!! (:

Concert Choir

Wednesday night, Concert Choir had there first concert of the year. Our winter concert. I know, doesn't it sound fun? HAHA not really. Except my best friend Erin came to it to see me and her boyfriend, Tucker, who was also in it. Me and him had lots of fun. It went well, lots of people came to see us. Guess that's a good thing...YEAH for D-Nash!!

Crazy For You

For my senior year of high school, my last musical will be Crazy For You. It is about Bobby Child, a scion of a New York banking family (and also a talented song-and-dance man), is sent by his mother to foreclose the Gaiety Theatre in Deadrock, Nevada. Once there, however, he falls in love with the daughter of the theater's owner, and becomes involved in a scheme to save the day by putting on a magnificent show. We just started rehearsing about two weeks ago. Music seems to come along more easily than the dancing. But by opening night on February 27th, we will be more than all set. (:

Student leaders led youth group last night! Esther and I led the open discussion time. We used the "Have you ever..." and the "Would you rather..." books to led some serious and funny talks. Everyone in youth band was up there singing and playing some Christmas hymns we picked out. Then there was an instrumental break where we all just danced. haha that was so much fun! And towards the end, Jacob and Tyler handed out candy canes to everyone while I talked about the true meaning of the candy cane. That was by far one of the best youth groups ever!! Carols

Today I got the chance to help Stella and sing some Christmas carols for the Women's ministry at my church along with Esther! And by doing that, I got a $50 discount for Winterfest!! And they served us food, well mostly cookies, but it still was good. I love to sing, so it was another opportunity to do something I love! Yeah!!

Ghost Whisperer

Ghost Whisperer is about a newlywed with the ability to communicate with the earthbound spirits of the recently deceased overcomes skepticism and doubt to help send their important messages to the living and allow the dead to pass on to the other side. Hmmm. It's a cold night in this here the 'ol good consitution state. We are awaiting the snow that shall soon come upon us!! I can't wait to make snowman, go sledding, and do anything that has to do with winter. I'm not a big fan of the cold weather, but I do enjoy me some snow!

Community Night Dinner

Wednesday nights at church we have the community night dinner, where anybody can come and eat a meal with there brothers and sisters in Christ and anyone else that wants to come. Tonight is chili night!! Mmmm I love me my chili! Especially with lots of hot sauce! Oof, I can feel the fullness now...CHILI!!

Bible Study, oh what a night!

Every Tuesday night is usually bible study night. I go to the next town over to go study the bible with a lot of my girl friends from church. After that's done, the guys at the guy's bible study come on over to where the girls are and we hang out for awhile. It's fun to just be surround be a great bunch of girl and guy friends! We laughed so much tonight. I love my bible study girls <3

Sports Awards

Monday night was sports awards at my high school. So me and one of my best friends Erin had the oh so glorious job of managing the Boys XC team at our school this past fall. Because we did that, we got Varsity letters!! And I made all academic honors for making honor roll while being manager. It was awesome!! Afterwards, when Erin brought me home, I realized I forgot my house key and to my luck nobody was home! Luckily my neighbor was home and she gladly invited me in for two hours til my parents got home. That was a pretty exciting night.
